MDB Expertise: a website that gets an accounting firm found locally from launch

MDB Expertise is the accounting firm of Morgane Debernardi, in Aix-les-Bains, France. We created its visual identity and its Webflow website, built for local search and to reassure visitors from their first visit.

“I’m super happy with my site! It’s functional and the design is magnificent! I’ve had nothing but compliments on it. One week after going live, I got my first client through a Google search, when I had no online presence before! Great support, I highly recommend it!”

Context: a new firm, no online presence

In 2025, Morgane Debernardi set up her accounting firm in Aix-les-Bains, after more than ten years working in firms. She wanted to work closely with small and medium-sized businesses, handling every client file herself.

At launch, the firm had no website and no online presence. Future clients met her in person or on LinkedIn, with nowhere to check who she was. And on Google, local searches were dominated by the large national networks.

The website in 20 seconds, from the homepage to mobile.

Goals: be found locally, reassure from the first visit

The website had three goals:

  • Show up in local searches, such as “expert comptable Aix-les-Bains”, from launch.
  • Reassure business owners who don’t know her yet: who she is, how she works, what changes with her.
  • Turn visits into meetings, booked by phone or through the form.

How we did it: from positioning to a live website in a month

1. A questionnaire to set the positioning

We started with a kick-off questionnaire: target clients, services, local competition, what sets the firm apart. One angle came out of it: Morgane handles every file from A to Z, where larger firms split it between several people.

We offered two versions of the website copy, in two different tones. Morgane kept the one that spoke best to her future clients.

2. Wireframes to validate the path

We laid out the page as a wireframe before any visual choice. Every section leads to booking a meeting: the promise, Morgane’s commitment, her services, her method, the frequently asked questions.

The path is validated in black and white, then takes on the firm’s colours.

3. A logo and brand guidelines for a firm just starting out

The firm had no identity. We created its logo and brand guidelines: a range of greens, neutrals, a light typeface for headings and a second, more readable one for body text. The firm looked serious from launch.

4. A page that reassures: the person before the firm

Business owners choose a person first. So the page introduces Morgane early: her photo, her background, her registration with the professional body, her commitment. Then it details what she takes care of, from setting up a company to the annual accounts.

Section “Une expert-comptable qui gère tout de A à Z” with six services, from company creation to legal follow-up
The firm’s angle becomes a section heading: one contact, from A to Z.

5. The website on Webflow, ready for local search

We built the website on Webflow. Local search was planned from the build: structured headings, title tags and meta descriptions, sitemap, alt text on images.

Morgane was trained on the tool. She can edit her copy and add content on her own.

Results: a first client from Google one week after launch

In one month, in August 2025:

  • A live website, designed and built in three weeks.
  • An identity: logo, colours and typefaces.
  • A website Morgane can edit on her own, after Webflow training.

One week after launch, the firm signed a first client who came from a Google search. It had no online presence until then. Over the following year, the firm received nearly 50 contact requests, through the website form and by phone. The website isn’t her only source of clients, but today Morgane gets enough requests to turn some down.
